AFRICAN QUOTES REVIEW

Elixir of bright light and luminescence

Illuminator of drab souls,

Casting beaming rays across borders.

Carved piece of earthen vessel,

Strewn with a precious ornament
Possessor of grace and poise.

Sons of Adam are besotted by thy gait
Thy alluring and radiant smile bewilders the strongest of men.

Oh!  But the plenteous tears beclouding thy lids,
Her chi has robbed her of fruitfulness the maidens say,
And her broken heart can non mend.

Amidst dung sitting on hay lay thy butts
With deep throated mutters incoherent
Thy shaggy hair lay in locks,
With thy beauty fading off with every tick of the clock.
